When the Lord Jesus told the disciples that one of them would betray him, eleven asked, “Lord is it I?” But the twelfth asked, “Master, is it I?” The Lord identified him as the betrayer by stating, “Thou hast said.” (Matthew 26:21-25) In other words, Judas said he was the betrayer because he did not address Jesus as Lord when he should have.
